Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you come during regular daytime hours (Monday to Friday 9-4pm) then no appointment necessary!
  • If you would like to come over during the evening or on weekends, please call or text ahead of time to make sure I will be around

My quilting schedule is subject to change through the seasons.

  • E2E turnaround is 1-2 weeks.
  • Advanced or Custom block is 3 weeks.
  • Show custom varies greatly and can take 1-2 months minimum.

**All show custom quilts need to book MONTHS in advance.**

Not really. I have thousands of design files but I don't want you to be limited to my catalogue. I can do any design from any website, magazine or photograph. You name it, I can do it!

If you want to know my favourite places to find new designs, here are my top sites!

Also, if I purchase a new design for your quilt, I don't charge you!  I also don't charge more for intricate or dense E2E designs because I don't want you to have to choose between a design you love and the cost to stitch it.

No limitations... no extra fees!

Nope! Finding an E2E pantograph or block design can be overwhelming.

Too many website, too many options... I get it!

Some people drop off their quilts and say "you choose!" I'm happy to!

I like to ask questions about the quilt and it’s intended recipient. I’ll suggest designs I think would look good. We can brainstorm together. Then, I can email or text examples for you to choose from after you leave. This gives me time to scour through the sites and grab my top 5 or so designs that I think would suit your quilt. And it saves you from having to choose from an overwhelming selection.

Not anymore, Sorry! There is a great store in Virden that carries 80/20 cotton and also polyester batting on the roll or in packages.  If you need batting, just swing through town and visit Custom Creations before you come out.

They also carry a large variety of double wide backings!

I do!

If you have a quilt guild in southwest Manitoba or southeast Saskatchewan, I will happily travel to your meeting night and do a group pickup!  I charge a travel cost of $0.40/km which will be split between all the members with pickups.  The more quilts I pick up, the less the individual charge.

  • I'm available for group pickups in the evenings & weekends only.
  • Min 8 quilts for group pickup.

I also travel to Brandon regularly. I would be happy to swing by your house on my travels or meet you somewhere for a pickup/drop off. Just contact me and we can co-ordinate a day & time.
